Success Stories:

There are so many great examples of how Reach for Youth staff have helped some challenged young people reach success. Here are a few. We will continue to be adding new stories and occasionally offering updates to past stories. Please return over time to review them.

School-based Group Counseling

Reach for Youth partners with local school systems to provide group therapy services, on-site at various schools, during the school day to address students’ needs, as identified by the school.

We offer a variety of specialized group curriculum, including, but not limited to: Teen Anger Group, Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Insight Group. Other curricula are available, based on the school’s needs. School-based groups occur on-site, at the child’s school, during the school day.

Groups typically are no larger than 5-8 students. Confidentiality is expected by both school personnel and the participating students. Licensed, masters-level therapists provide group therapy services.
