At age fourteen Joe was suddenly failing in many ways. He was suspended from school. He had failing grades. He’d been found with marijuana and caught stealing cash from his mother. Joe was truly in a downward spiral – headed for even more trouble.
This was Joe’s path until he was convinced to sign up for the Reach For Youth Teen Court program. With a second chance thanks to his Reach For Youth peers helping him understand the need - and the way to straighten out – Joe got the message.
Says Joe’s mother:
Now Joe really has a fighting chance to be successful. He’s completed high school and has been accepted to study accounting at George Washington University. Life is beginning to add up for Joe thanks to all of the help he received from Reach For Youth.
