Morgan County Programs & Kendrick Foundation Grant Update

Thanks to a generous funding by the Kendrick Foundation, Teen Court held the first hearing for Morgan County in February with two cases. Special thanks to our volunteer attorney M. Webb and our youth jurors for making a difference and giving youth second chances!
Teen Court staff has provided juror training and attorney training to multiple youth volunteers from the Morgan County community, but an ongoing need for youth volunteers is present. Any interested volunteers can visit our website to get signed up as a volunteer. Youth must be at least 12 years old to volunteer.
Reach For Youth staff continues to engage local community partners like Morgan County Juvenile Probation and local Morgan County Schools to better meet the needs of youth and families in Morgan County.
Reach For Youth staff has developed a growing relationship with The Crossing Education Center in Mooresville that allows students to participate in Teen Court and receive access to clinical services. We thank our partners at The Crossing Education Center for their ongoing support of our programs and services.
The next Teen Court hearing will be held on April 30th, at 26 S. Indiana Street in Mooresville. All Teen Court hearings are open to the public and we strongly encourage interested community members to attend.

Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a daily basis. Its always useful to read content from other authors and practice something from their websites.
